Clérigos Tower is one of the places you shouldn’t miss, because on the top you will get a panoramic view of the city from above. Also, Monastery de São Francisco is a must, with its beautiful azulejos (tiles) on the outside and mesmerizing wood carvings in the inside. Don’t forget to step by Lello bookshop, a historical book store and one of the oldest in Portugal, where allegedly J.K. Rowling inspired herself for Harry Potter – you will understand why – it is magic!
